Welcome to My Mother's Switchplates !

What we do: We manufacture premium steel designer switchplate covers.

How we do it: My Mother's Switchplates covers are handmade. During the 13 step process, mini-art prints are bonded directly onto UL^® approved oversized steel plates, and coated in resin to ensure a permanent, washable surface. They can easily be cleaned with a damp cloth. Designed to brighten any home, they will last a lifetime.

What's available: We have hundreds of different models. Currently, only our printed catalog is online. We are working to improve and update our catalog in order to display all of the switchplate covers we make.

How to Order: You can order by phone, fax, or email. We are currently investigating the concept of online ordering, but until we decide to, we'll continue to conduct business via US mail, email, fax, and phone.

Don't see exactly what you want? No problem. If you send us a photograph, we'll make a cover with it (Note: the photo must be approximately 1" larger than the chosen switchplate).

Our switchplate covers make excellent stocking stuffers, so get a few.

On this site, you will find that the switch plate model numbers have codes next to them. These codes are the formats in which the covers can be made.

All designs are available in Single and Double. Larger artwork is available in Triples, Quadruples, Quintuples, and Sextuples.

S: Single-One standard toggle switch, one fancy rocker switch, or one set of American AC Outlets will fit on the plate.

D: Double-Two standard toggle switches, two fancy rocker switches, or two sets of American AC Outlets will fit on the plate.

T: Triple-Three standard toggle switches, three fancy rocker switches, or three seta of American AC Outlets will fit on the plate.

4: 4 Toggle-Four standard toggle switches, three fancy rocker switches, or four sets of American AC Outlets will fit on the plate.
